Boulder Police Search For Assault Suspects

BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4)- Police in Boulder are searching for three men wanted in a recent assault and robbery case.

Victims told police that three men attacked them sometime after 2 a.m. Nov. 16 in the alley behind Nitro Club, located at 1100 Lawry Lane.

The 23-year-old victim was walking with another man when one of their attackers asked for a cigarette.

After he handed the man a cigarette and the two friends turned to walk away, the suspect with blonde hair seen on the left in the pictures, tackled the victim.

That's when another man with the group began punching the victim. The third suspect grabbed the victim's friend who was trying to intervene.

The suspects were last seen walking west on Lawry Lane.

The victim suffered serious injuries and was taken to the hospital for treatment. The victim's friend was not injured. The assault was not reported right away to police.

The pictures are from surveillance video showing the three suspects. The blonde suspect is wearing what appears to be a scarf, jeans and possibly cowboy boots. The other two suspects have dark hair and clothing.
