No Charges For Driver In Toddler Death In Aspen Grove Parking Lot

LITTLETON, Colo. (CBS4)- Police in Littleton will not file charges against the driver of a car that struck and killed a 2-year-old boy.

Bram Venn was struck by a car in the parking lot of the Aspen Grove shopping mall on Nov. 17. He died after being taken to Littleton Adventist Hospital.

Investigators said it was a tragic accident and that no criminal traffic charges will be filed.

The driver of the SUV did stay at the scene after the incident and cooperated with police.

There has been a memorial fund established for Venn's family. It is set up at the Credit Union of Denver as the Bram Xavier Venn Memorial Fund. People can go into any branch and donate, or call (303) 234-1700 to donate over the phone.
