DENVER (CBS4)- It’s a classic holiday film that became a popular Broadway musical under another name. Now “Miracle on 34th Street” is back on stage and properly titled.
“Miracle on 34th Street- The Musical” is based on the 1947 movie. While it has been in the Broadway lineup since 1963, you probably haven’t heard of it because it was titled, “Here’s Love.”
MTI Shows retitled the stage production and now the musical has become a holiday staple.
“Miracle on 34th Street- The Musical” is on stage at the Arvada Center through Dec. 23. It features some wonderful songs by Meredith Wilson of “Music Man” fame.
The story of whether Kris Kringle really exists is great entertainment for the entire family.
“Miracle on 34th Street” is playing at the Arvada Center, 6901 Wadsworth Boulevard in Arvada, through Dec. 23. Tickets can be purchased by calling the box office at 720-898-7200 or arvadacenter.org.
