Teenage Girl Beaten With Baseball Bat In Westminster

WESTMINSTER, Colo. (CBS4) - A teenage girl in Westminster had to go to the hospital after three men attacked her with a baseball bat while she was behind the wheel.

Police have arrested two suspects but are still searching for the third.

The teen was in her car when the men got out of a cream colored van and then started hitting the windows. The woman was injured, although the extent of her injuries hasn't been released.

The suspects fled and led police on a nearly 10-mile car chase. It ended at 13th and Peoria Street in Aurora. Westminster police say two suspects were arrested immediately. One of them is also a minor and the third escaped.

Police know the identity of the missing suspect and are confident they'll make an arrest soon. Because of the on-going investigation they have not released any of the suspects' identities to the public.
