Fort Carson Soldiers Return Home For Thanksgiving

FORT CARSON, Colo. (CBS4)– About 200 Fort Carson soldiers are home in time for Thanksgiving.

The first group of soldiers returned Tuesday evening followed by another wave on Wednesday afternoon.

The soldiers are part of the 4th Brigade Combat Team. They’ve spent the last nine months in Afghanistan to oversee the completion of road projects, medical clinics and schools.

A total of 150 soldiers arrived home on Tuesday, another 50 soldiers are set to return home on Wednesday.
