DENVER (CBS4) – Some Denver Broncos players made good use of their day off on Tuesday to help out in the community.
Four Broncos helped prepare sides dishes for the annual Thanksgiving community dinner sponsored by the Salvation Army.
Eric Decker, Chris Kuper, Ben Garland and Joe Mays took off their helmets and went to work in the kitchen.
Mays was on potato peeling duty.
“It’s easier said than done, especially with me since I’m not very handy in the kitchen,” Mays told a CBS4 crew as he was peeling.
