Police Won't Say If SUV Driver Will Face Charges After Boy's Death

LITTLETON, Colo. (CBS4) - Police in Littleton continue to investigate the death of a 2-year-old boy on Saturday.

Bram Venn was struck by a car in the parking lot of the Aspen Grove shopping mall in the morning. He died after being taken to Littleton Adventist Hospital.

Police have not said yet if the driver of the SUV will face any charges or if this is just a tragic accident.

Samantha Venn, his mother, told CBS4 on Sunday Bram was one of four sons. She said she wants people to remember her son as someone who was always smiling.

There has been a memorial fund established for Venn's family who are unable to cover the massive costs in the months ahead. It is set up at the Credit Union of Denver as the Bram Xavier Venn Memorial Fund. People can go into any branch and donate, or call (303) 234-1700 to donate over the phone.

The Venn family also wanted everyone to know how grateful they are that so many people have shown such love for their beautiful boy.
