COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) – Rylan Schwartz scored twice and Archie Skalbeck assisted on both his goals as Colorado College beat Bemidji State 3-2 Friday in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association.
Schwartz scored early in the first period and late in the second for the Tigers (6-3-0, 3-0-0).
Scott Winkler also scored in the first period, which ended in a 2-2 tie.
Danny Mattson and Jordan George had goals for the Beavers (2-2-1, 1-1-1), who were 1-for-4 on the power play. They are 2-for-21 with a man advantage this season.
Josh Thorimbert had 23 saves for the Tigers, and Andrew Walsh had 23 stops for Bemidji State.
