Snow Falls On Vallecito Fire In Southwest Colorado
DURANGO, Colo. (AP) - Firefighters are being released from a wildfire west of the Vallecito Reservoir in southwest Colorado, now that an inch of wet snow has fallen on it.
Fire officials said Friday that the 1,400-acre Vallecito Fire will be monitored if weather conditions warrant or until more moisture accumulates.
The fire started Oct. 12. Its cause is undetermined.
