Trader Joe’s Can Sell ‘Two Buck Chuck’ At New Denver Store

DENVER (CBS4) – Coloradans who enjoy Trader Joe’s are a step closer to getting “Two-Buck Chuck,” the store’s signature discount wine.

The city of Denver approved a liquor license for the new store off Colorado Boulevard.

The specialty grocery chain’s first Colorado location is due to open next year at 8th and Colorado. CBS4’s news partners at the Denver Business Journal report the store meets the requirements to have a liquor store in the neighborhood.

Under state law Trader Joe’s is only allowed one full liquor store in Colorado. A second grocery-only Trader Joe’s is planned for Boulder.
