DENVER (CBS4) – The Cathedral Basilica of the Immaculate Conception celebrated a major milestone on Sunday — 100 years.
The Archdiocese of Denver celebrated the stone church as well as those who have passed through its doors, including Pope John Paul II when he presided over World Youth Day in 1993.
All masses over the weekend commemorated those who have been baptized, married or educated at the basilica, along with those who worship at the cathedral.
