Police Arrest Suspect In Robbery Involving Assault With Pipe
FORT COLLINS, Colo. (CBS4) - Fort Collins police have arrested a suspect in a gas station robbery in which three people were assaulted with a metal pipe.
Police arrested Christopher Wayne Jones, 28, on Wednesday afternoon.
According to police, the suspect hit three employees with a metal pipe while robbing the One Stop gas station on South College Avenue last Thursday.
Jones was contacted by police and he voluntarily went to the station for a consensual interview. He was later arrested. He faces charges of aggravated robbery, first-degree assault, first-degree burglary and theft.
