DENVER (AP) – The youngest victim of the Colorado theater shooting has been laid to rest.

Friends and family gathered for a private funeral Mass for 6-year-old Veronica Moser-Sullivan on Tuesday in Denver.

She was one of 12 people killed in the July 20 shooting in Aurora.

Her mother, Ashley Moser, was wounded and was paralyzed and also miscarried as a result. Funeral plans were delayed while she underwent rehabilitation.

Flags across Colorado were lowered in memory of Veronica on Tuesday.
