DENVER (CBS4) – Thousands of the undead took a stroll along the 16th Street Mall on Saturday. They were taking part in the seventh annual Zombie Crawl.

Organizers had hoped to break a record for the largest zombie gathering ever.

The event included a parade, race and costume contest. The crawl benefited the Food Bank of the Rockies, and appropriately Bonfils Blood Center.
