DENVER (CBS4) – Relatives of one of the people killed inside a Denver bar say their lives have been changed forever by such a senseless act.
Kellene Fallon was one of five people killed inside Fero’s Bar and Grill on Colorado Boulevard early Wednesday morning. Police say the suspects then set the bar on fire to try to cover up the crime.
Fallon’s family released a statement that says in part, “There are no words to describe the feelings of loss that encompass our thoughts … Kelly will be remembered for her exuberant smile, her hardy laugh, and the life she brought to those that knew her.”
The family also thanked police.
Police say tips from the public led them to three suspects. Brothers Lynell and Joseph Hill and Dexter Lewis are all in custody.
