Century 16 Theater Sign Removed
AURORA, Colo. (CBS4)- Crews removed the Century 16 sign from the theater where 12 people were killed and 58 others injured in a shooting on July 20.
Some of the victims' families requested the sign be removed because it was such a clear reminder of the mass shooting.
The theater plans to renovate and reopen sometime next year.
Suspected gunman James Holmes is charged in the deadly shooting and remains in custody in Arapahoe County awaiting trial.
