GREELEY, Colo. (CBS4)- An Evans man was sentenced for sexually assaulting a teenage girl.
Michael Leroy Kassel was sentenced 16 years to life on Friday.
According to police and court records, Kassel, of Evans, was arrested in December 2011 after three girls told police that Kassel had repeatedly touched them in a sexual manner.
A Weld County jury convicted Kassel in July on one count of sex assault on a child and one count of sex assault on a child as a pattern of abuse.
The indeterminate sentence means that Kassel’s release date will be determined by the Department of Corrections.
