ASPEN, Colo. (CBS4)- A school bus driver in Aspen has been placed on unpaid leave after allegedly ripping a student’s shirt.
The school district said the driver lifted an 8-year-old boy by his sweatshirt to physically move him to a new seat. That’s when the shirt ripped.
The boy was not hurt.
The district agrees that the boy was misbehaving but continued to discipline the driver for his actions. He has been placed on unpaid administrative leave during the investigation.
The driver did apologize.
