DENVER (CBS4) – An elderly woman needed medical treatment after she drove her minivan into the South Platte River on Monday.
The woman entered river from the west and the minivan almost made all the way across the river but got stuck on the east bank.
Witnesses were able to get the woman out of the van and she was awake and alert when firefighters arrived.
It’s not clear how the woman was injured.
