DENVER (AP) — Michelle Obama is returning to Colorado for events next week.
President Barack Obama’s campaign says the first lady is scheduled to speak to supporters in the Colorado Springs area and at Fort Lewis College in Durango on Wednesday. She also is scheduled to speak at the Douglas County fairgrounds Thursday as she encourages voters to support her husband.
Details on her Colorado Springs visit haven’t been released yet.
Colorado is considered a battleground state, fetching multiple visits from Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney, his wife, Ann, and the Obamas this year.
Early voting in Colorado starts Oct. 22.
