DENVER (CBS4)- This year the average American will spend nearly $80 on Halloween. Those with children may spend even more.
There is a way to satisfy those children and stay away from scary price tags; try a costume swap.
“They drop off a costume then on Saturday they can come and redeem their voucher for a new costume,” said costume swap meet organizer Leslie Risley.
The more you donate, the more free costumes you get.
