DENVER (CBS4)- The Colorado Republican Party is excited about the opportunity for the presidential debate, not only because it’s taking place in Denver but also because it will put Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney in the spotlight.
“I think he needs to have a solid performance but I don’t necessarily think it’s a make or break, but I think he’ll do really well. I think he has an opportunity to lay out with great clarity the vision and plan that he has for America. To lay out for both people here in Colorado as well as around the country, the choice we have. Because we have two very clear and competiting visions that we take this country under the presidential leadership,” said Republican Colorado Party Chair Ryan Call.
Call spoke with CBS4′s Alan Gionet on the CBS4 Morning News on Wednesday before the debate at the University of Denver. Watch his entire interview below.
