LAKEWOOD, Colo. (CBS4)- Police in Lakewood arrested and released a man suspected of shooting and killing his girlfriend’s ex-boyfriend.
It happened shortly after 10 p.m. Tuesday in a home on South Harlan Street in the area of W. Ellsworth Ave.
When officers arrived they found a man who had been shot and killed.
They told police the man was the woman’s ex-boyfriend who had forced his way into the home. The man shot him after they got into an altercation.
The shooting happened inside the home belonging to the woman’s current boyfriend.
Detectives said the man who fired the gun was booked and released pending the investigation. The District Attorney’s Office will determine whether any charges will be filed.
