DU Professor Says Debate Is University's Turn In The Spotlight

DENVER (CBS4) - Going into the first presidential debate many say Barack Obama has the edge and many say Mitt Romney has the edge, but most everybody at the University of Denver believes the school has the edge.

CBS4's Alan Gionet talked with DU Professor Bob McGowan about what the debate means for the university and for all of Colorado.

"From an image standpoint it puts us front and center worldwide because they say there's going to be about 60 million that will tune into the debate," McGowan said. "It's a major coup for the university just to stage this memorable event."
