Demaryius Thomas Honors Breast Cancer Survivors
DENVER (CBS4) - Safeway and Cheerios are taking time to note breast cancer, especially its survivors. Even Denver Broncos receiver Demaryius Thomas teamed up with the companies to honor survivors with new Cheerio's box.
The company unveiled a special box featuring Heather Blakely Voyles, a survivor from Cheyenne, Wyo. She was just 32 when she was diagnosed with Stage 3 breast cancer while she was trying to get pregnant.
Two years later Voyles and her husband are proud parents of an adopted baby girl.
