BOULDER COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) – A Superior home was destroyed by fire early Sunday Morning.
The house is located on South Torreys Peak Drive in Boulder County. The fire started at about 3 a.m.
A family was inside when the fire started but they were able to get out.
The fire spread quickly and also burned the deck attached to a nearby home. The house is a total loss.
“I’d say literally five to six minutes after we got out it had already spread from their basement all the way up to their third floor. And it was raging up to the roof. It spread very quickly,” neighbor Brian Shaltakoff said.
Several people in the neighborhood had to be evacuated and the Red Cross is working to help about 30 people.
Nobody was hurt.
