LAKEWOOD, Colo. (AP) — Mitt Romney will return to Colorado this weekend.
The Republican presidential candidate plans to hold a rally Sunday evening in Lakewood at D’Evelyn Junior/Senior High School. Doors open at 5 p.m. and the rally starts at 7:30 p.m.
Some in the GOP have been criticizing Romney for spending too much time raising money and not enough time talking to voters in the battleground states that will decide the election. The Denver rally was added in response along with a three-day bus tour in Ohio.
On Monday at noon, he’ll speak to supporters at the Pueblo Weisbrod Aircraft Museum
Romney had planned to visit Pueblo last weekend but a fatal small plane crash at the city’s airport prompted the campaign to cancel.
