Investigators ID Shooting Victim After 33 Years

ASPEN, Colo. (AP) — Pitkin County investigators have identified a man who was shot to death and dumped in the forest near Aspen 33 years ago.

The victim was identified Wednesday as Donald Allison. Authorities used a national database to identify his body.

Allison was working as a fisheries biologist when his body was found in1979 by people hunting mushrooms near Aspen.
