DENVER (CBS4)- It has been so dry this spring and summer in the Denver metro area that one popular recreation is closing up early for the season.
Sloan’s Lake will be closed to boaters on Monday.
The lake is located near 17th and Sheridan. It offers many different types of recreation, including a bike path.
Denver Parks and Recreation said the lake is too low to support boaters.
Another reason the lake is so low is because the city uses the lake to water parks in Denver.
