DENVER (CBS4)- A handful of sleuths gathered for a special dinner and bonded over their love of a good mystery.

The new CBS show “Elementary” is a contemporary take on the legendary detective Sherlock Holmes in New York City. The drama stars Johnny Lee Miller and Lucy Liu.

The new series can be seen in Denver at 9 p.m. Thursdays starting September 27.

Thursday night some local viewers who had the lucky chance to view the series premiere before it aired gathered at the British Bulldog in downtown Denver.

They discussed the modern-day reboot of the classic Sherlock Holmes over a special dinner with Dr. Watson’s Neglected Patients, the Denver scion of the Baker Street Irregulars.
