Denver Police Search For Driver In Hit-And-Run

DENVER (CBS4)- Police in Denver are searching for the driver in a hit and run that left a pedestrian seriously injured.

Police said the pedestrian was walking at about 11:44 p.m. September 7 across the 2300 block of S. Federal Blvd. when he was struck by a vehicle.

That vehicle was traveling southbound on S. Federal Blvd. and drove away after striking the man.

The suspect vehicle is described as a smaller-sized car that was red or maroon in color.

The man suffered serious life-threatening injuries and was rushed to Denver Health Medical Center.

Police in the traffic investigations unit are searching for any witnesses to the collision or witnesses who can help identifying the suspect.
