FORT CARSON, Colo. (AP) – Firefighters have contained a small wildfire at Fort Carson.
The fire started around 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in a training area on the Army post near Colorado Springs but was fully contained within a few hours.
Firefighters from the post’s fire department as well as Cheyenne Mountain and the Colorado Springs fire departments worked on the fire.
The cause of the fire wasn’t immediately known.
