Study Says Indoor Marijuana Growing Operations Harmful To Officers
DENVER (CBS4) - A new study says law enforcement officers put themselves at risk when then go into indoor marijuana grow operations.
A doctor at National Jewish Health conducted the study. He says the greatest health risk from marijuana grows comes from high levels of mold spores found inside homes due to all the moisture.
People living in homes, especially children, are at greatest risk, but law officers could also feel the effects.
Law enforcement organizations asked for the study over concerns about health risks for their officers during raids.
