Gilpin County Resident Shoots Trespasser
BLACK HAWK, Colo. (CBS4) - A man shot a trespasser on his property Thursday night, sending him to the hospital.
The home is along Deer Circle off Highway 119, near Black Hawk.
Police say the trespasser was shot in the chest and was airlifted to a hospital in Denver. He was with a woman at the time.
So far it's not clear why the two people were on the land.
The shooter has been detained by police.
