Douglas County Teachers Union Considers Lawsuit

DOUGLAS COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) - The Douglas County Teachers Union is considering suing the school district.

Douglas County schools broke off contract talks with the teacher's union on Thursday. The union and the school board could not agree on a pay for performance plan. Now the Denver Post reports the district may face a discrimination lawsuit.

Although the district no longer recognizes the teachers union, it's still working with the bus driver and mechanics union.
