Denver Police Say Serial Groper Has Struck Again

DENVER (CBS4) - Denver police are still searching for a man in Denver who they say is groping women.

An incident happened for the fourth time on Tuesday in the middle of the day. The most recent victim was targeted while walking on West Kentucky between Gilpin and Franklin streets about 2:30 p.m.

The victim says she was grabbed from behind by a man standing at the end of an alley.

Similar attacks have been happening since last month near 5th and High streets and on 37th and Osceola.

"Our suspect came up behind those two victims, groped them, and then fled the scene," Detective John White said. "We believe it's the same individual. The way he conducts business is he will wait until a victim passes him, then he follows the victim, comes up from behind, and in at least two incidents, grabbed the victims' buttocks."

The suspect is described the same way in all of the attacks as a bald, heavy-set Hispanic man between 20 and 30 years old. He drives either a dark Nissan Altima or Maxima with tinted windows.

Anyone with information is asked to call Denver police at (720) 913-2000. Remain anonymous and call Crime Stoppers at (720) 913-STOP (7867). Text to CRIMES (274637) then title DMCS and enter the message or send an e-mail to metro-denvercrimestoppers.com.
