CORTEZ, Colo. (CBS4) – Middle school students in Cortez will be back in class Tuesday after a bat outbreak in the building shut down the school last week.
On Thursday between 15 and 20 bats were spotted in the school. Students had to call their parents to come get them.
Bat control workers came in to take care of the problem.
It’s believed the bats came in during construction work.
