DENVER (CBS4) – There’s been a major new development in a story CBS4 has been following for a couple years now in Douglas County.
County commissioners now plan to challenge a judge’s ruling that blocked plans to build thousands of new homes.
Last week a judge ruled that the Sterling Ranch development could not go through because developers don’t have an adequate water supply. Developers want to build 12,000 new homes south of Chatfield Reservoir.
