Colorado State Fair In Its 140th Year
PUEBLO, Colo. (CBS4) – The Colorado State Fair continues in Pueblo, and it’s a great option for families this Labor Day Weekend.
There are more than 50 rides, as well as all kinds of food, livestock and live shows. There’s also a petting zoo with exotic animals like camels, llamas and kangaroos.
“You might want to leave your diet at home. Anything you can deep fry you can find at the Colorado State Fair, from Twinkies to Oreos,” said Chris Wiseman, the fair’s general manager. “We have funnel cakes, corn dogs, cotton candy and we have a Pueblo special called a kielbasa sandwich.”
The fair is in its 140th year, and continues through the end of the day on Monday.
During the CBS4 Morning News Thursday CBS4′s Justin McHeffey interviewed Stonie from Stubby’s about the great burgers they offer at the fair:
