MORRISON, Colo. (CBS4) – Colorado has lost a television icon after Blinky the Clown passed away.

Russell Scott hosted “Blinky’s Fun Club” on Channel 2 for nearly 30 years. It went off the air in the late 1990s.

Scott also owned an antique store on South Broadway in Denver. He died of natural causes Monday morning at a nursing home in Morrison.

Scott was 91 years old.
