AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) – Amtrak is ready to go to a new home.
Earlier in August CBS4 reported on a story of the two-year-old puppy who was hit by a light rail train near the Interstate 225 and Dayton Station. Her paws and tail were damaged and she had other lacerations and breathing problems.
Since she was injured the stray has been recovering at the Aurora Animal Shelter and now she’s ready to be adopted.
The shelter says Amtrak will need a family that can be mindful she’s now blind in one eye, but otherwise she’s happy and healthy.
