ARVADA, Colo. (CBS4) – Police in Arvada say drugs and alcohol may have contributed to a deadly stabbing Friday night.

Officers arrested Abdu Latif Kazembe Abunantambu-El, 52, after he allegedly stabbed a man to death at a home in Arvada at about 7:30 p.m.

Police say after the stabbing the Abunantambu-El then threatened the victim’s wife and physically assaulted another woman in the home. He remains in custody on first-degree murder charges.
