Colorado 67 Between Florence, Wetmore Reopens
FLORENCE, Colo. (AP) — Colorado Highway 67 between Florence and Wetmore has reopened.
That stretch of the highway closed to traffic July 31 after heavy rain damaged a wooden bridge five miles north of Wetmore.
The Colorado Department of Transportation built a two-lane paved detour around the bridge that opened to traffic Friday morning.
CDOT eventually plans to build a new bridge.
About 1,300 vehicles a day use the section of the highway that reopened.
