DENVER (CBS4) – An unruly passenger on a JetBlue plane was taken into custody at Denver International Airport on Sunday and now will face federal charges.
The plane was en route from New York to Los Angeles when the intoxicated man caused a disturbance on the plane.
The pilot made an unscheduled stop in Denver and Marcus Covington was arrested.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office says Covington will likely face charges of interfering with a flight crew.
Spokeswoman Laura Coale says the flight to Los Angeles resumed about 1 a.m.
