DENVER (CBS4) – A man accused of shooting and killing a 20-year-old woman in Denver has been formally charged.
Lynn Kimbrough with the Denver District Attorney’s Office said Robert Trujillo, 30, has been charged with first-degree murder in the death of Natasha Carrillo on Aug. 10.
“The charge alleges that on Friday afternoon … Trujillo shot and killed Carrillo in her home in the 1400 block of Knox Court,” Kimbrough said in statement. “Trujillo, a former boyfriend, was arrested two days later without incident.”
Trujillo is being held without bond. His next court appearance is on Wednesday to be advised of his charges.
