Carbondale Man Accused Of Having Sex With 12-Year-Old Girl

EAGLE, Colo. (AP) — Authorities in Eagle have arrested a man accused of sexually assaulting a girl when she was 12 years old.

Police say Nelson Orellana, 19, of Carbondale had a relationship with the victim two years ago when he was 17 and the victim was 12.

Orellana was booked into the Eagle County Detention Facility on two counts of sexual assault on a child and is being held on a $20,000 bond.

Police say Immigration Customs Enforcement agents have placed an immigration hold on him because he is suspected of being an illegal immigrant.
