COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4) – The Denver Public School District gave a generous donation to an area hit hard by the Waldo Canyon Fire.
On Friday a bus stuffed with school supplies from Denver Public Schools drove down to Colorado Springs. It dropped off thousands of dollars worth of back-to-school items.
The donation drive was organized by the Christmas Unlimited charity. Supplies will go to the families impacted by the fire.
