Colorado's Obesity Rate Tops 20 Percent

DENVER (CBS4) - Colorado's obesity rate has now topped 20 percent, but the state is still the leanest in the nation.

According to new analysis released Monday, 12 states have obesity rates above 30 percent. That includes Mississippi, which has the highest obesity rate at just under 35 percent.

Twenty-six of the 30 states with the highest obesity rates are in the Midwest and south.
