The Gates Rubber Company factory (credit: CBS)
DENVER (CBS4) – CBS4′s partners at the Denver Business Journal say there’s a delay in what’s next for the old Gates Rubber Company building.
It’s been more than 20 years since production came to an end at the plant. There could be plans in the works for a 260 unit apartment complex on the site, but right now there’s a delay on demolishing the old factory.
A public hearing is scheduled for Sept. 4. Anyone can come forward to discuss if the building should be knocked down or kept.
