AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) – A fundraiser took place on Saturday for victims of the theater shooting in Aurora.

The event featured a dunk tank, water slide and live DJ. All proceeds go to Michael White and his girlfriend Farrah Soun-Dani, who were hurt in the shooting. Michael White actually attended the benefit wearing a sling.

“You can’t move past it but you really need to put it behind you, otherwise the shooter is taking control of you and you need to just move on,” Michael White’s mother Lynne White said.

Proceeds from the benefit will also help Ashley Moser. She was shot and suffered a miscarriage. She also lost her 6-year-old daughter in the shooting.
